The Contemporary Arts Collection
A collection is never complete unless it comes down to the present day. As such, the Millicent Rogers Museum continues to add to its permanent collection materials documenting the arts and cultures of the southwest.
In recent years, additions to the collection have included pottery by contemporary Pueblo artists, jewelry by Navajo, Zuni and Pueblo silversmiths, and carvings by next-generation Santeros.

Millicent's mother, Mary B. Rogers, donated the core of the Pueblo Indian works. These watercolor paintings from the well-known Santa Fe School illustrate the history of Southwest Indian painting that began in Santa Fe in 1917.
