Tours

With advance arrangements, personalized tours of the Museum are scheduled throughout the year and are led by one or more volunteer docents. Docent-led tours are available to any group free of charge with the group admission fee. You can also consider our new state of the art electronic audio tours for groups up to 30 people. These hand held devices alllow individuals to move about the museum at their own pace. An additional fee plus the group rate applies to this tour option.

School tours are available with options for special exhibitions, permanent collection galleries and a museum tour with a hands-on art activity. These art activities include both Native American and Hispanic cultures and creative expression. Also, the Museum’s art activities support and expand the New Mexico Department of Education’s Benchmarks and Standards.
